Submit New Event

We'd love to feature your event on the Hello Village board. Use our short online form to tell us about it — our curation team reviews every submission before publishing.

Acceptance criteria for events

Before submitting, please check that your event meets all six criteria:

  1. Community-focused organisations

    Live, real-world events from charities/non-profits, sporting and social clubs, associations, schools, churches, councils, and individuals where community interest is central. Not for commercial advertising, political campaigning, or religious doctrine.

  2. Forest Row as main location

    Events held in Forest Row or close enough to be reasonably attended by residents — maximum 15 minutes' drive. Not events targeted only at East Grinstead, Edenbridge, or Crowborough.

  3. Face-to-face events

    Physical events that encourage meet-ups and new connections across Forest Row. Online-only events are out of scope.

  4. Inclusive, safe environments

    Events held at accessible venues where possible, with limitations made clear (ramps, disabled toilets/parking). Age-targeted and insurance details should be flagged. Events that exclude groups without justified reason or that are unsafe are not accepted.

  5. Accurate, up-to-date information

    Organisers commit to keeping event details current. Participants can sign up easily and are notified if a session is oversubscribed.

  6. Clear benefit(s) for participants

    Events that have a positive impact on participants' wellbeing.
